1. What we provide
Whiffscope is an editorial fragrance publication and catalog. We publish news, guides, product information, and interactive tools (such as the perfume quiz) to help you research perfumes before buying elsewhere.
We are not a retailer. We do not sell fragrance products directly. Prices, stock, and product details on retailer sites may differ from what we display.
2. Not professional advice
All content is for general information and entertainment only. It is not medical, dermatological, allergological, or safety advice. Fragrance ingredients can trigger sensitivities or allergies. Patch-test new products and consult a qualified professional if you have concerns.
Scent preferences are subjective. Quiz results and "best" lists reflect editorial judgment and algorithmic matching — not a guarantee you will like a product.
3. Retailer links
Some links on Whiffscope point to third-party retailers. If you click through and buy, your contract is with that retailer, not with us.
Retailer sites have their own terms, pricing, stock, and privacy policies. We do not control what they show or how they handle your order.

We strive for accurate, up-to-date information but do not warrant completeness or correctness. Fragrance reformulations, discontinued lines, and pricing change frequently. Community ratings and aggregated data may contain errors.
Product images and brand names belong to their respective owners. Trademarks are used for identification purposes only.

- Republish our database, quiz logic, or editorial content as your own product

We may restrict or block access for violations, without notice where permitted by law.
6. Email and communications
When you submit your email, you consent to us storing it so we can unlock quiz results on-site and, if we launch a newsletter, contact you about fragrance picks. We do not currently send automated emails — no welcome messages, digests, or quiz result emails are delivered. Results appear on the page after you submit your address. 7. Intellectual property
Original editorial content, design, code, and quiz mechanics are protected by copyright and owned by the publisher of Whiffscope unless otherwise stated. You may share links to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution. Systematic reproduction requires permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Whiffscope and its publisher are not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
